Just had lunch at this magic spot. The setting is terrific but both the service and food were terrible! The waiter was a liar to begin with! What was supposed to be mini burgers for my baby girl turned out to be a regular size burger and the all fresh squezzed natural juice for me was from a box! As soon as they pick up starters they put the main(already cold) courses on the table! And frankly it was far from being delicious! Just edible but definitely no savor! I'm not playing hard to get! I enjoy simple things but this is low even for me! This is the place where celebrities such as #DiCaprio or #messi stayed while in tangier for god sake! And don't even get me started on the price! Biggest check I've paid in a restaurant in my whole life!

Le Mirage is an exceptional five-star hotel that began several decades ago as a simple cafe and then expanded into the luxury hotel that it is today. The rooms and suites here are all of the upmost taste and quality as are the reception area and restaurant.
The outside dining terrace is most pleasant with spectacular beach views and there is a huge swimming pool with surrounding terrace for the pampered guests to enjoy during their stay.
Le Mirage has has its share of celebrities, including film stars, designers, aristocrats and those who wish excellent food and lodgings in peaceful and beautiful oceanfront surroundings. They have a choice of suites fit for a king.
One afternoon while assisting a friend as his social secretary with his 30 guests for an indoor lunch, I looked on the terrace and spotted a famous French actor who I had always wanted to meet, but alas, I was too busy.
The lunches, dinners and breakfasts are all very good and artistically presented. There is a traditional bar that was decorated with wall fabrics and antique furniture by a friend in the best traditional taste.
You will find this one of the best places to stay or eat in Tangier. Le Mirage is located about 25 minutes by car or taxi from downtown Tangier and 10 minutes from Tangier's Ibn Batutta Airport.response / report this review -
