It good
This McDonald's in Tangier, Morocco has a million dollar view from its terrace, where you can see all the way across the Strait of Gibraltar to Tarifa, Spain and the mountains of Andalucia.
It was quiet when I went there a few days ago, just for a morning coffee before going to a memorial service at St. Andrew's Church for a friend who had died. But I recognized the manager, Mohammed, who informed me that the WiFi did not work very well. I sat at a comfortable table inside with the large windows and fabulous view.
On a subsequent visit I was literally insulted by the bully-security guard outside at the new Fredj Hotel, who treated me very rudely and like a criminal or a vandal. This guard outside at the Hotel Fredj needs to be fired for his horrendous behavior towards a tourist.
There were only a few people at that time of the late-morning, but on a previous visit I noticed that the place can get very busy and the tables seem to be occupied by students with their laptops.
The McDonald's is no longer in the complex that was formerly occupied by the Hotel Dawliz. The new 4-star hotel that is being readied to open is called Fredj Hotel, and so this McDonald's is no longer called McDonald's Dawliz.
When I was there the air-conditioning was not yet turned on, but I think it was because the weather in Tangier is not yet hot enough. Nevertheless, I expect it will be functioning later in the summer. I would have rated this McDonald's 4 stars but because of the non-working WiFi I gave it only 3 stars. It could be cleaned up a bit, and the outside glass partitions on the terrace need to be thoroughly cleaned.
ADDENDUM ON JUNE 30, 2017: This MacDonald's is permanently closing later in the summer and in the autumn It will be reopening in a new location in downtown at the former Madame Porte's.
Tragically, the beautiful marble floors and interior of the famous and historic Tangier institution Madame Port's has been completely gutted and destroyed inside. What a shame that this once-beautiful cafe has been ruined for a fast-food chain. Money talks, apparently.
The food is bloody wonderful
Amazing place to meet friends and take lunch
Nice place to eat near the Medina. The staff was kind and the place was clean. I recommend it
Beautiful view! It's a McDonald's! So it's the same food

you will enjoy your meal here with great sea view.
It was very awesome in old days, with less "3robiya" and there was a very quite, respectful movie-theatre, anyways, this rating for 2005-6 days
