What a lovely place to stay! The rooms are exotic and beautifully designed with a sense of whimsy, each one unique. Our room had a huge window overlooking the garden from a sitting room off the bedroom and included a large terrace partially enclosed by a wood trellis painted teal blue. It was so pleasant to sit outside before breakfast. The manager at the front desk was helpful, attentive when needed and made us feel like we were right at home. Indeed, everyone here at the hotel made us feel like special guests. The hotel consists of a few select rooms within an old riad built by a Moroccan government official in the early 1900s. It envelopes an expansive garden with fountains and a long reflection pool at the entry - so full of character and mystery. At one end of the garden is a restaurant overlooking the garden at two levels which serves excellent contemporary French-Moroccan dinners with a good wine and beer selection. A marvelous breakfast gets you going in the morning. This is a very special place, particularly for couples. I'll be dreaming about it for a long time.

The place is beautiful. If you have at least two hours to spare and you don't mind waiting until 1pm to get a meal, then this is a great place to eat. Like other restaurants in the medina, don't expect too much for the quality of the food. Morocco isn't for food tourists! Unlike the many cafe's and restaurants in the city, this offers good food in tiny portions. Enjoy the view
