The hosts were very welcoming, make you feel at home. The breakfast is delicious with great views from the terrace. In a great location in the medina

We stayed 3 nights at Maison Maure and had an excellent stay! Christian (the French owner living in Fes) and his "bras-droigt" Driss were very welcoming and we felt more in their homes than in a hotel. They are very talkative, which we liked as we learn quite a bit about Fes and Morroco. They were also of a great help as Christian personally went to the CTM Bus office on his way back home to buy our bus ticket to Chefchaouen (and later Rabat). They also booked us a day tour to Meknès with a private driver that we found reasonably-priced (EUR90). Our room was spacious, clean and well-decorated. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great (especially when it's warm enough to stay on the terrasse). Only negative (which we could say for all the Riads we stayed at in Morroco) was the poor WiFi coverage (especially in the room). We would clearly recommend anyone visiting Fes to stay at Maison Maure!

Un lieu reposant, très agréable et très beau ! Très bon accueil, une vue imprenable sur la médina de Fès en savourant un super petit déjeuner sur la terrasse ! Je conseille fortement ce lieu!

Maison superbement décorée, hyper bien située dans la médina, très bien tenue par Christian-Stéphane. Driss est une perle pour le petit déjeuner et pour vous conseiller sur les visites. La terrasse permet de bronzer avec vue sur la médina et les montagnes autour. Réservez vite!

Très bon séjour à la Maison Maure. Située au coeur de la Médina tout est accessible à pied.

The Road is overpriced for the service that it delivers. The Manager, Idriss is not a friendly guy and seemed to be distant. We woke up late and he told us it was too late for breakfast, the issue is he didn't even suggest a place for us.
Also, breakfast is not included in this riad. A couple checked out before us and they were also not impressed with the manager.
The Road is clean and does look good. But the price is high and the service is low. I would recommend to find another.response / report this review -

Super friendly and helpful Diss ( probably the owner, or the manager), nice rooms, very close to the main Media Street making it easy to go exploring. One thing to keep in mind though - the parking is not near the hotel! It's quite a walk through the narrow streets of the medina and if it is your first time there, a challenge to find.

Riad atypique dans la Medina de Fès. Meubles du 18ème et du 19eme siècle. Service et propreté impeccables. Vue imprenable sur la Medina. Grand professionnalisme, je recommande vivement !
