Excellent hotel although slightly far from downtown but excellent cuisine. Nice gardens and other amenities (spa.) and conference rooms. The fiod and banquet is what i like most. The ambiance can and should be improved especially in the lobby. More light. There is a .need for a guest manager. 80% perfect. I would give a 4.5 /5 rating.

I am spending a month in Rabat for work and everyone had raved about Sofitel and the rose garden. Two girlfriends and I made an evening out of it and it did not disappoint. The garden is stunning and the bars were lovely, drinks, food and service.

Unfortunately our fabulous evening came to a disappointing end when the doorman scammed us. He tried to give us a more expensive taxi since he said we would have to wait a long time for a regular, less expensive one. We declined saying we would wait for the regular one. Luckily a minute later a regular taxi pulled up and we tried to get in but the doorman insisted that we take another one that pulled up behind it. He said he had called it for us so we thought maybe the driver had gone out of his way. So we left the regular cab and we hopped in only to find out a minute later it was the expensive one. We should have made him turn around - but we just wanted to get home. You would expect that a place of the caliber of Sofitel would be different than how we are treated in a medina. It had been a perfect day and a perfect evening - too bad it ended with such a bad taste and the feeling of being screwed and scammed. I trusted the hotel since we had been treated so well. Now I know better.

The Sofitel delivers on all the amenities, comforts, food and service. A great quiet location for a nice escape or for business meetings.

Every unit knows there stuff but nothing else. Ask reception about the brunch and they know nothing. Ask the staff in brunch about the pool and they know nothing. A bit slow service at the bar. IF there is a place where i expect things to run smooth its here. Management seems not working well. Nice brunch with delicious food.

Second visit to this hotel, having loved our first visit. Will only book Sofitel in Morocco, knowing that we will always enjoy our stay. Must admit that the rooms should be updated, as they have not changed in 4 years. They are still well designed and should wow you if a first visit.
Grounds are gorgeous and relaxing, bed big and comfortable.

The hotel is nice and the pool is great but don't expect a shower in your room they supply only a shower head.
The thing that ruins the hotel is the staff. It took me 40 mins to check in and forget about eating or drinking here they pay you no attention unless you wave them down salad for lunch took over two and a half hours and only half turned up. Same the next day later discovers that the Moroccan resturant on site has good waiting staff and food But dinner at the buffet was awful . It's such a shame because the staff just really don't care

Came here for the So Spa. According to my girlfriend the prices are really great and the service was exceptional. Really beautiful hotel, wouldn't have minded staying here at all!

The service is among the best I've ever seen at a hotel. Exactly what you'd expect from a Five star hotel. The food here is also great probably the best in Rabat. You can also spend hours in the stunning back garden and swimming pool area with a variety of lounges abd restaurants to serve you.

Nice 5-Star Hotel with comfy rooms. Staff is very professional and friendly. There are small bits of food and drink offered all day at the lounge in 8th floor. The pool is only available from 8am to 6pm, so there is no chance of swimming before or after working. I suggest to extend the pool opening times.
