We were booked here last minute This place is okay but no way is it five star and it's up to 100dhm for a taxi ride to the centre of Marrakech ..for example, there was someone already sleeping in the room i was allocated, then the key to the new room wouldn't work, the male reception manager was extremely rude to us, the food was cold and the service was slow. On the plus side the bed was very comfortable and the cleaning staff were very nice ladies.

Excellent 5* Hotel and resort in Marrakech. Very big spacious property with every facilities in-house. Big swimming pool and spa services. They got very good restaurant with wide varieties of menu. Very comfortable rooms and comfortable beds. House keeping are excellent. Should stay here to enjoy it

Seems like this hotel cares about their rooms and that’s it. All you need to know in case you stay:

Organization is terrible here. They overbooked the hotel by about ten rooms so our whole group had nothing. Took them an hour and a half to get us another hotel for a night across town. To help situation they gave us a free camal ride. After I told the manager I didn’t want the camal ride I preferred €25 euro off something else we actually wanted he said “this or nothing.” But not in a nice voice.

The spa. Don’t waste your money on a hammam massage. 50 minutes really means 10 minutes of actual work and 40 minutes of “relax” while the lady goes off to do who knows what. It’s awkward. Go for a real massage. Oh and if the lady awkwardly walks out of the room and says absolutely nothing, the massage is probably done.

The hotel doesn’t know how credit/debit cards work. Both the spa and restaurant people were visibly pissed we wanted to pay with a card. Twice they demanded cash and the waiter was so mad he literally threw our bill down on the table and shook his head. It’s like they don’t know it’s 2018 and you can pay with a card AND leave a tip. Being that your main customer base is westerners this is crazy to me.

Pool. The pool is nice but they absolutely do not have enough sun beds. They could easily add twice as many chairs. And good luck getting an orange pool towel. I asked the lady at the front desk for one and she said “at the pool.” But like, with a real mean tone and face. Trust me, there are none. The only way you get one is if you come at 7:30 - 8:00 and grab one and stake your claim. Both for the chairs and the towels.

The workers. For every one super nice and incredible worker, there are probably 3 or 4 terrible ones. Unfortunately, the terrible ones seem to be the ones at the main places like the front desk or resteraunt. The front door guy, the security gate guy, and the cleaners seemed amazing. They’re the ones who should be running the hotel.

WiFi. Don’t expect WiFi in your room. They have SmartTV’s with built in WiFi but it’s not powerful enough to do anything. If you want WiFi, expect to head to the pool or lobby area. The WiFi their is usually really good though, so that was a plus.

Water. This is an absolute mind blower. Be prepared to smuggle water. The hotel doesn’t allow outside food, drinks, or WATER. We arrived with 3 big jugs and were told to throw them away. There was absolutely no sympathy. I gave them a few choice words and stuffed them in our suitcases when they weren’t looking. To give you an idea how big of a scam this is, they charge 25DH for a single 1.5 litre bottle. At the grocery store a 30-minute walk away, you can buy 5 for the same price. I can understand if the drinking water was clean, but.???

Air condition. I get it, it’s april. However, it’s still 34 degrees (93 F). Again, your main customer base by far is westerners. Not sure where the rest came from but where I came from it was still below freezing and snow. Asked the front desk if our unit was broken or they only have warm air right now. She said they don’t turn on the air condition until later in the season and to “open your window, it’s good enough.” Yeah, let me do that. Great idea. Woke up with flys and moasquitos in the room of course. Oh, and top of that, the night club right next to our room was going to party town. The temps may not be bad for you Morrocans but for the rest of us it’s a freaking sauna.

A lot more I could say but this is the main points. If the hotel improved on just a few little things it would be such an amazing place. I give it two stars for the really impressive and clean rooms but if that’s all you have to offer at a resort, what’s separating you from a normal hotel?

Cockroach infested room. WiFi does not work on rooms. I complained to the manager about the Cockroach problem and they did nothing (didn't even offer to disinfect the room). I asked for my money back and , after ignoring me for 5 days, they just charged my account anyway. Do your health a favour and stay away from this roach infested place.

Bel hôtel 5 étoiles. Vide en période de Ramadan. Très propre, superbe piscine et jardin très agréable. Le confort des chambres répond aux standards. Près de la Palmeraie, donc un peu loin du centre. Par contre, le spa laisse à désirer : durée des soins non respectée, impossible de payer par carte bancaire, pas de facture ni même de reçu.
