Tent review: we were going to camp in our own tent but they offered us a glamping tent and we decided to take it. The tent had lights and power sockets. The beds, pillows, and linen were all new and good. There was no top sheet though, and I imagine after it's been open for a bit longer you won't want the blankets straight on you. The glamping tent we had was at the very back of the property and from it's verandah we could watch the sun set over the ocean to our left and to our right was the lagoon and town. It was a beautiful spot.
Serious downsides: the toilets have no toilet seats (?!?!) and the toilet near our tent had no bucket to flush the squat toilet. No toilet paper. No locks on the shower doors and there's a slit between the shower doors so not a lot of privacy. However we were the only "glampers" in low season so it wasn't a problem. Showers are HOT. Too hot even? There's no way to control temperature and it is on a timed button. If another person showers the pressure disappears.
So, 5 stars for the tent and view, 1 star for the bathrooms.
There are no prices on the website. The asking price of 500 dirhams for the glamper is way too high. As is 200 for camping. Prices negotiable.
The guy who showed us around was awesome, so chilled out and friendly.
Would I return? Yes, so long as they sort the bathrooms out!response / report this review -
