Beautiful hotel in a great location. Steps from the beach. Breakfast was so-so, but the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Wish I was spending more time in Tangier, will miss this place!

Very bad hôtel.. Please avoid staying here at all costs
The staff is unprofessional, very rude, disrespectful
We booked a room with a beach view we got cheated and they refused to give us a different room.

Chambre bonne et spacieuse, le choix tv et taille tv sont un peu vieux age la litterie est bonne, suivant les chambres parcontres l isolation des vitres n est pas parfaite du coup on peu entendre les voitures passer sur la corniche a longeur de nuit

Quite disappointed, this is not a four-star hotel
My experience at the Almohades hotel was quite disappointing, mostly because of the service. The stay was not expensive, about €40,00 but I do expect good service when staying at a four-star hotel.
The rooms are nice and clean. No problem there. I really enjoyed the bath tub and I slept very comfortably in the beds. There were good room service options, although nothing for vegans. Once I got to the room I did have to call the reception desk again to ask for towels and an extra key. This all took a little longer than it should.
I spent a great night at the hotel. They have a bar, which seemed to be more festive than most parts of Tangier. It has also been the only place where I have been served alcohol. I’m not sure about the location because it was quite far away from the medina, but we did have a sea view. It was so windy, however, that the sea front location was more of a problem to us.
The upsetting part for me was the check out the next day. I was trying to hire a car and was unable to find one. The hotel did one attempt of calling the Hertz office at the airport but said they were closed. After that the staff has been of no further help. I expect a four-star hotel to help with such things and at least put a considerable amount of effort into it. I also did not receive an apology for their lack of service at all.
It was not until three and a half hours later-we were still sitting in the lobby trying to find a solution-that a staff member came over and asked us if she could get us a taxi. At that point we had already found a driver ourselves.

Cons:
- Had to call the reception desk for towels
- Staff did not apologize or empathize
- Staff did not properly help us to find a rental car
