The place was charming and welcoming at first sight with management seeming attentive. Unfortunately, that evening as arrived the first thing I saw on my bed was a bedbug crawling around and then upon closer inspection several smaller bedbugs all over the bedspread. Needless to say I couldnt sleep there but I had to stay in this hotel at this point. They moved me to another room, seemingly nonchalant about my concern. The other room looked fine but at that point I couldnt sleep at all. I spent the night in the bathroom since i figured there were less places for them to hide in there. The next day I did see management get rid of the bed they initially assigned me including the wooden furniture. Its a guesthouse and I can see this happening often due to such high turnovers, but it was unacceptable to me.
