It’s a nice place and good value for your money
This house is good value to money. The bathrooms are shared, there is no air conditioning in the room and no breakfast. This things aside the rooms are cute and the staff were all friendly. It is well located.
Really nice place all traditional of chefchawen with nice peaple
A lovely hotel inside the city the old and location close to all directions
Dar Antonio is everything it should be. It is not as comfortable as a hotel, but that is part of the charm. The owner, Antonio, is incredibly firendly and called us to make sure we were on our way when we didn’t show up in time.
The rooms are bright and colourful and instantly made me happy. The double bed is not the largest but I slept like a baby. The building is not exactly sound proof so you’re required to speak softly at night.
The most exceptional part is without a doubt the shower. It looks like you’re showering in a cave, no… a bat cave. Even though the bathrooms were shared I was quite happy with it.
The owner was very helpful in offering to get us a transport to Rabat the next day as well as a place to stay there. We already had everything arranged but his helpfulness definitely made us feel more welcome.
Pros:
- Lovely owner
- Great price
- Bat cave shower
- Colorful and beautiful
Cons:
- Check in is officially till 20:00
- Shared bathrooms
- Necessary to speak softly at night
Very nice hostel.
The hosts are very controlling and manipulative whilst putting on a face of helping, they don't care for the guests, just profit, but the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. I wouldn't go back just because of the owners/ staff.
