This place is being run by an ambitious young man called Abdoul and his father. They are both really nice. You can communicate in spanish, english, french and arabic. Hostel is a typical old style Moroccan house with a patio, high ceilings and of course with a terrace. We had the double room next to terrace i believe it is the best one in the hostel :) Compare to other ones in city center quality is much better, as well the price. I am glad to meet these gents and have a chat about Morocco in general and about life. Saludos from Malaga!

We did not have a great time in this guest house (it’s not an hotel, do not be fouled by the title), despite the place is very cold, two rooms doesn’t not offer hot water nor solution to the client. Indeed the manager, who sounds to be stoned 24/7 did not suggest any solution for us nor discount. He just said « the owner do not want to change anything, please comment on trip advisor or contact the owner ». This is not appropriate at all.
Also knowing that this is a guest house and not an hotel, this is too expensive.
Avoid this place unless you like cold shower..

Quite little hotel in the heart of the blue city. The rooms are beautiful with ancient decor and basic amenities. There was hot water 24/7 and the cold could be bearable with the help of a heater. The room price we paid for a night was only around €25 and this even included breakfast. Breakfast was wholesome with unlimited tea, coffee and some muffins, bread, fresh orange juice. Due to rains we stayed indoors in the evening and played some board games and cards. The fire place made is cosy too. Highly recommend!

Lovely place and very welcoming hosts. Be warned that during the cold months the hostel gets very cold. Blankets and a heater are provided however we still had a very chilly stay.
Apart from that it's in a very central location (about 5min walk from the main square), good breakfast and lovely views to the Atlas Mountains from the terrace.

Abdul is Great ! Friendly, helpful, a fountain of knowledge of what to do, where to eat and anything else you might need to know.
I would highly recommend a stay and would definitely return. Rooms and terrace areas are so well done. Perfect!

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our recent stay at Dar Dadicilef. Abdool, the host, was incredibly kind and gracious. The hostel has several accommodation options, including private rooms. The natural airflow of this traditional riad home keeps the interior temperature comfortable. The upper terrace is a great place to relax with a view of Chefchaouen and the nearby mountains. Staying right in the medina is convenient. Excellent food at Bab Ssour is only 60 seconds away. Highly recommended!

Beautiful spot run by two absolutely charming men. They could not be more helpful. The place is calm and clean with a stunning two tiered roof terrace.

Had by far one of the best stays of my life at this hostel. I was blown away by the hosts hospitality, from the breakfast to their willingness to talk us through what to do and how to do it in Chefchaouen. Although the bathroom could be a bit more private for the first floor, and the shower use some work, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Amazing price for a very nice stay. AND THE BREAKFAST

Fantastic experience. Could not have asked for a nicer, friendly, more helpful host. Really made us feel welcome and genuinely cared that we have the best experience possible- both at the hostel itself and in Morocco in general. Very clean hostel, lovely atmosphere, delicious breakfast, great views from the roof. Like everything in the medina, it can be hard to find, but the location is very central and it is well signed. Would highly recommend!

Great atmosphere with best in class Riad feeling downstairs. The Riad also has two terraces on the top with great views to the mountains and city. Friendly staff always there to help you with whatever needed. Highly recommended.

I love Dadicilef so much! One of the best hostels I've been: everything is beautiful, well decorated, clean and the hosts are really nice and helpful. The price is really good too and the breakfast is delicious. That's why I always come back there when I go to Chefchaouen :)

We stayed there on Feb 11-12. The hotel is ok, but the manager was terrible. I tried to stop his party noise after 10:30pm. He refused and said Fxxx word to me twice. When I wanted to call police, he refused to provide police phone number and hold my arm twice. He never said a single word "sorry". Instead, he said he did not care whatever I posted any comment for it.
