Beautiful hotel , room spacious , staff helpful but very little English , very French , nothing written in English so you don't know what your eating

Right so we have been back a week and I miss Morocco like mad, what an absolutely amazing place, the beach is clean and to die for, the weather was gorgeous and we had no problem at all with any mist from the atlas mountains, we came back with amazing tans. In all honesty I would not go back to this hotel due to the lack of variety of food and most days we struggled to get hot food it was always Luke warm, by the end of the holiday we ended up eating out and had the most amazing meal just along the plage at the Playa, and I was given a rose upon leaving. The staff at this hotel I really can't fault although not all of them spoke English they tried hard, it was most definitely French orientated but we knew this before we booked so it was not really a problem. Although not directly on the beach there is a underpass which has a security guard who unfortunately feels it OK to wee at the entrance which absolutely stinks the whole tunnel out so we decided it was best to go to the beach via the front if the hotel, the room was nice and I loved getting up at 5am listening to the melodic sounds of prayer of these wonderful people. This country for me and my partner was just amazing, you can walk any where and all the locals are friendly. I'm definitely going back to morocco but probably will not go back to this hotel. Just to add the grounds are absolutely beautiful. Just had a response from management on trip advisor telling me I can not be talking about his hotel which infuriated me as I can not respond to him, my review was honest but I do have to say we are used to staying in 5 star accommodation.

Vacances catastrophique !!!! Plus jamais
Temps affreux aucune journée de soleil toujours brumeux semaine passé 1ère semaine de septembre.
Hôtel très moyen propreté des chambres a revoir ménage fait en vitesse, douche qui fuie
Mal insonorisées surtout si vous êtes situé côté rue :vrombissement de moteur, bruit de musique ,cris disputes en pleine nuit pendant des heures
La nourriture a revoir toujours la même chose midi et soir
Même le restaurant a thème est payant malgré être en all inclusive
Seul point positif l'animation et les animateurs
Mais je ne conseille en aucun cas cet hôtelresponse / report this review -

Pas un établissement pour se reposer, très bruyant bouchons d'oreilles obligatoire même en journée! Nous sommes les uns sur les autres. Nourriture correct. Bien que l'établissement soit familiale, les animateurs eux même déconseillent certains spectacles si vous avez des enfants. L'établissement manque de charme. Toujours les mêmes animations en boucle. Mon enfant c'est fait griffer par un des chat de l'établissement et pas de kit de secours après 20h30. Côté excursions, 130 euros pour 2 heures de quad vendu, réel 1h30 montre en main moins les 3 pauses à peine 45 minutes. La surveillance des piscines n'est pas réel, on préfère la pause cigarette alors que 12 enfants du mini club sont dans le bassin avec une animatrice qui doit s'absenter pour emmener un enfant au sanitaire.

Chambre impeccable , Buffet décevant peu varié ,seul le personnel des chambres et de surveillance agréables et présents animateurs et autres employés très décevants peu motivés !! A revoir comparé à Kosovo le jour et la nuit !! En résumant pas vraiment satisfait de CE séjour !!

Nous venons de rentrer d un séjour d une semaine dans cet hôtel et sommes très déçus.. Hôtel pas a la hauteur de ses 4 étoiles,très bruyant,manque de vaisselles obliger de courir derrière les assiettes ,les verres
Toujours la même nourriture, Ras le bol au bout de 8 jours.
Terrasses autour des piscines pas très nettes au vu des goélands (feintes a gogo )
Manque d organisation pour le personnel en salle de restauration ou terrasse ,obliger de débarrasser les tables des précédents clients pour pouvoir déjeuner ou dîner.. est se normal ? de plus le personnel pas très aimable et encore moins souriants,pas très cool .
Enfin voilà notre ressenti au bout d une semaine passé la bas , cela est sûr nous n y retourneront pas et ne ferons pas une bonne pub pour MARMARA..

Just came back from my first holiday on my own and I really enjoyed the experience. The staff is great, very understanding and helpful. The food was good , plentiful and varied. They were all sorts of activities organised in the hotel (gym, dance, tennis, evening cabaret) if you wanted to participate . You could booked excursions too and there is a lovely spa room where you can get a fantastic massage. If you do a few excursions/activities at the beginning of your stay you meet people faster.
My bedroom was spacious and clean - the hotel is very well run. A majority of French people around but they were very friendly and most of the staff speak English too. I will go back.response / report this review -

Food poor and bad timing. unfriendly staff who look upset that have to work and rather chat to coligues then costumers. do not visit if not speaking french since english levels are low amoung a staff.

Very nice hotel with beautiful Moroccan architecture. Nicely placed within Agadir with easy access to the beach and lovely promenade. (a couple of hundred metres)
