Great vibe, amazing shisha. Great hosts, it’s in the Medina so u get the authentic Moroccan vibe not the European layout of the new city. Very safe city even safer in the Medina. Must visit if you want to chill and smoke shisha!

Don’t be fooled by the photos, the food they serve now is nothing like this. The place isn’t clean and the service is rubbish and yet it’s not cheap!!

This is a wonderful place, the food is tasty and traditional, you can try shisha or drink mint tea on the nice terrace, the staff are so helpful and professional, try cafe rouge if you come to Marrakech, it's a good experience, very welcoming, thanks all at cafe rouge

Cafe Rouge is one of the best Moroccan restaurants in Marrakech! I was staying in Marrakech for a week and met Jalil who suggested I try the restaurant and I was not disappointed! Jalil was a great help and the food was awesome. I highly recommend Cafe Rouge!

I was visiting Marrakech for only 3 days and read online of Cafe Rouge for it's great hospitality. I was truly impressed and felt very comfortable lounging in the cafe as I worked on my computer. Two full days well spent in such a cozy cafe, thanks to Amine providing amazing service! Highly recommend.

Best Cooking Class Ever!
We had a wonderful time at the Backpackers' cooking class.Hind, Ayda and Oumayma gave us a great insight of the Moroccan culture and food.We had a lot of fun exploring the markets and preparing the food.We enjoyed every second of it.Thanks so much for being such lovely hosts!

Great experience
My family of four enjoyed this experience of getting to walk through the medina then coming to a building in a small alley to cook. We made meatball and lamb with apricot tagines. With that we had zucchini salad. The food was excellent. The advice that I would offer people is to go in with ideas of what you want to cook. We were pretty thrown as Hinde asked us in the busy, loud Jemaa el Fna what we wanted to cook. Also, our trip through the Medina would have been better if we had asked more questions as not a lot was offered. We were a bit uncertain and so Hinde just walked through and picked up food and asked us for money

Extremely enjoyable and rewarding experience
Simon was our chef, and he was so very friendly, energetic and happy to have us in his kitchen. After carefully selecting vegetables for our vegetarian tagine, Simon took us to an outdoor rooftop kitchen on top of the Rouge Cafe. Here he explained intricately every step and detail of the tagine and he was very patient with our terrible cutting of vegetable skills! Overall it was a fun and eye opening experience, would recommend to all!

Amazing cooking class. Great host. Aida has lots of experience with so many kinds of dishes. The venue is unique - the beautiful cafe rouge on its rooftop terrace. A great place to know. They also run several hostels in the medina and trips. Prior to coming to Marrakech I corresponded with their London office and found it to be efficient. This is a good starting point for any visit, on any budget to Morocco Cafe Rouge

It is more than a cooking class of a delicious meal, it is pure inspiration for empowering women. I was very proud to participate somehow (at my little scale) in helping those wonderful women in their mission. Not only was it in an absolutely enchanting setup, the orange trees, the shining sun, the lovely little terrace, but it was also very interesting to hear all those inspiring storiesThank you so much for your dedication to this noble cause and for taking care of us during the class, a real pleasure!!
