Good hostel, volunteers give the place a good atmosphere, town is beautiful and relaxing, maybe not enough showers and toilets, but still OK, walkable distance yo everywhere with a nice view to the mountains.

Firstly, you simply have to visit Chefchaouen, but I guess that is your plan since you are here.
Now Aline Hostel is a great place to stay When you do! A big delicious breakfast was included When i was there, and the service was top notch. We arrived very early in the morning, and we got to rest on the couches in the reception no problem. Furthermore they will happily help you with your questions about the area, hiking trails, stuff to do, and in the end, planning your departure. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and there is loads of other travelers to hang out with on the cool rooftop area they have, from where there also is a splendid view of the surronding Mountains.
The dorms are basic but clean, so they will live up to every backpackers expectations, and seeing the breakfast is included in the price, it is more than fair.

Nice place, an ever changing mix if personalities provide and interesting ebb and flow of different energies but it always remains positive. Mostly a younger crowd that a quite into what the Rif mountains are famous for, but even as someone that does not partake of the haze it was a nice stay. The kitchen is tiny and not particularly well equipped, but it shouldn’t lose any points for this and there are plenty of cheap eateries close by (I’m 14 years vegan but didn’t find life here difficult).
Nice views from the terrace, friendly staff (usually European vollunteers from mid-day to night. Breakfast is simple bread, marmalade, and cupcake with coffee or tea and juice. Not my kind of wake-up but I didn’t feel short-changed skipping it. there are small lockers, no locks on the dorm doors, but during a seven day stay I never felt any reason to lock away valuables as the crows was always of good, honest people, and no one is going to walk into the hostel and take anything (and if they did try, someone is always on the door). I would recommend, but if you want a really quiet place at night maybe check out Baraka in the medina. It all depends what you’re looking for :) I will volunteer here soon, so come say hi and help me to help the kitties!

The hostel is amazing. Awesome location and helpful staff. In winter Chefchaouen can get really cold and running out of hot water was a problem for the first night. The hostel provides extra blankets fir the cold. Breakfast is included and one of the best in Morocco but it is not all you can eat. The view is also very good. Wifi works everywhere except the terasewhere you would probably stay most of the time during the summer. All in all I definitely recommend this hostel. A very good value for the price. Just remember to wake up half an hour earlier to take a hot shower.

Was noise. Hot showers always. Clean toilets. A person gets 1cup coffee or tea 1 bread if ask for more told no. Good place to hang washing.location good. I asked for them to arrange mule ride they never did. Asked what was going on in square the one running hostel didn't seem to know about anything. Was a big festival.
