  Hussein gave us a very good price for a package with accommodation, food and an excursion to the Toubkal with “equipment” included. We went to the Toubkal and inexperienced as we were we didn’t really know the situation at the mountain. Hence, we thought it was enough to climb with only boots and crampons he provided.
  
  We didn’t feel comfortable organizing everything by ourselves so we expected that booking a full package with professionals would help us to avoid any beginner’s mistakes.
  
  After 2 hours of hiking we reached the snow and found out that our boots were not waterproof and that one of the crampons was broken. The mountain is very steep and dangerous at some points, two poles for hiking are necessary and they didn’t give us even one.
  
  The organizer saw us leaving the hotel wearing jeans and leggings and he didn’t say anything especially that we needed proper pants for the snow. We knew nothing about the situation up there and trusted Hussein as he said he was selling us a complete excursion there with everything included.
  
  The next morning when we started our ascent to the top, we were the only ones not having proper equipment, attracting comments from the other climbers. it was ridiculous.
  
  Finally we came back from the mountain and talked to Hussein about our discontent and the risk of his customers by sending them with no proper equipment. Instead of admitting his mistake or even apologizing, he said he didn’t provide more than we had because we didn’t ask for it, so at the end apparently it was our fault.
  
  If you want to climb the Toubkal please bring all the necessary equipment and do your own research, don’t rely on others and make the same mistake as we did.

  Had an amazing family adventure in October 2016 with Adrar, taking in the desert, the mountains and seeing the real beautiful country that Morocco is. Can't rate these guys high enough for looking after us all and making sure we had such a great time

  Lahcen and the crew are nothing short of awesome. They know how to have a laugh but are consummate professionals when it comes to the job. Genuine friends mage with the organisers as well as the crew. Came talk about the alternatives but if you want my recommendation, go Adrar without a doubt. If you regret it, you're the problem, not them!
