Nice station Clean and safe

I purchased tow tickets for the Tangier night train in January 2018 at the Marrakesh station. I was shown the couchette number and the money was taken. The ticket agent asked for my passport to put my name into the computer. He was unable to do it for more than ten minutes. One name. Finally he loooked at me and said the couchettes are sold out as the agent next to him meanwhile sold the tickets. I asked for the station master and explained the problem. I was with my 12 year old son. He said:It is not his problem (surprise!). We spent 12 hours sitting up without sleep.

Taxi drivers at the station choose and pick based on how far your trip will be ! Local authorities do nothing

Hard to find a better train station in Morocco, you can find even get McDonald’s, kFC, and other nice shop, don’t get on a taxi here better go to the street

It's worth having a look when passing by for architecture enthusiasts. It's so different to what we know as a modern train station in the western world.

If you are looking for taxi, there are 2 types. one is the old Mercedes and another is the petite taxi which is cheaper. CONFIRM THE PRICE before taking! We were quoted 100dh for the old Mercedes and 60dh for petite taxi to go to the medina. I'm quite sure it can be cheaper.
