The food is ok for the prices they charge . What was not ok is their staff and their manners. 1.The brought the bill while still eating. 2. Ring the keys and saying, "Come on finish now we are closed". Unacceptable and definitely a very bad way to start your night. I wouldn't recommend it.

Very poor experience. Rude personnel, rushed times, very average food. Prices are okay for the type of food you get, but expect to be treated like they're doing you a favor by having you there. I'm not a Latvian resident so I'm unfamiliar with their culture, but every other dining experience I've had on my 5 day trip was very pleasant, except for this one. This is my first review without pictures included since we were so rushed to eat that I didn't have time to share a visual representation of this experience.

Terrible customer experience, just “okay” food. Waiter and staff was very rude and basically told us to leave at 11pm sharp when we had been told the kitchen closed.

Pathetic. Arrived at 10pm, and they mentioned that the kitchen closes at 11pm, so that we had to order quickly, which we did. At 10:55pm while we were still eating they brought us the bill, emptied the bottle of wine and at 11:05pm the manager came to our table, ringing his keys, to kick us out. Never had this treatment in my life in a restaurant. Food was average, service terrible. I'd suggest you teach your personel some manners and hospitality.

What a terrible experience.
Arrived at 10pm and was told that the kitchen closed at 11pm. Thus, we were told to please order everything in one go. When ordering, we were not allowed to order anything else than a main dish. At 10:55pm the waiter brought the bill, emptied the bottle of wine into 2 glasses, and shortly after another employee walked by, ringing his keys, and telling us to get moving. Food is average and not too pricey, but would never put my feet in that place again. When do you learn that the restaurant business is about customer experience?response / report this review -

Visited later at evening, closer to closing time. Service was nevertheless friendly and attentive. Food was very reasonably priced (compared to the Old town especially). I had ribs and they were just perfect (with excellent parmesan couscous) and my wife loved her chicken soup. Quality to price ratio is just about perfect!

Came from uk visit part business, looked on Google and saw this restaurant. Gave it a go very pleased that we did. Food lovely very well cooked and well presented. I can be very Critical as I like cooking and good food. But have today had lovely food and very goods service. Would recommend this, if you want chips and fried food don't go, if you want lovely fresh veg and well cooked food enjoy. Will comeback again as will back in July.

Outstanding restaurant! The second you walk in the atmosphere of the place transports you to somewhere else. It's elegant, it's classy, it's beautiful and just a great place to be.
…and then comes the food. I will admit, it's not the most affordable place in Riga but if you're visiting from a different country the prices are more than reasonable. We had the Lamb and it was superb. Compliment to the chef!
All in all this restaurant is a must on your list of places to go to in Riga. Because nothing is better than enjoying some great food after a long day of sightseeing.response / report this review -

Excellent smoked pork tennessee and also the New York steak was delicious. Fast friendly service, good complimentary bread, reasonable prices (pork 10, steak 30, desserts 4). Nice and quiet athmosphere, good music, very stylish. Highly recommended! P.s. Google maps position is a little off, it's a bit further down the street.

I honestly believe I had the best steak I have ever had in my life tonight. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and literally melted in my mouth. Im floored by how good it was. The rest of the meal was top notch as well. The service, the atmosphere couldnt be better. FYI, I never leave reviews but read them all the time. I only say that because I was compelled to tell others about my amazing steak experience.
