I haven't stayed in the hotel, so I can't comment on that. But visited the restaurant, had a nice cup of coffee and a yummy apple cake. The staff was friendly.

The place has good location. Quite close to sea side and not too far from city center. The building from distance looks good but come closer and you see that it requires some renovation. The rooms are tidy but at the same time dont choose the rooms on top floor, the ceiling is very low, couple of times hit my head. We booked place for 2 adults and 2 kids but they offered just two beds which would still be ok (since we had one 3 year old) but when we asked to give us additional pillow we were refused and they claimed that they did not have any spare. And this all came with quite high price tag since we paid around 1.5-2 times the amount you would pay in city. So these 4 things: room for dwarfs, room for 4 with just two beds and refusal to give us additional pillow with high price for the room bit ruined my weekend that resulted in just 2 stars.

Wonderful old building in a fantastic location very close to the park and beach, perfect for morning strolls before breakfast (take a sweater - it's always windy!). Old part of Liepaja is also within easy walking distance. Room nothing special but comfortable, nice shower, overall quite OK. Breakfasts very good with lots of good Latvian selections. Highly recommended; great value.

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful old art nouveau villa. The room and the bathroom were big and were obiviously quite new (attic expansion). The staff is really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and fresh. Free WiFi is available.
