  I’m on a road trip around Europe for 4.5 months with my lovely 2016 R1200GS Adventure.
  
  That’s why I do my periodic checks when necessary around European countries.  I’m from İstanbul, Turkey. We started from İstanbul and had my service for 10000km in Sarajevo, Bosnia. And for second one right before heading to Nordkapp,Norway in Riga, Latvia. It’s a little bit early 16000 but I’ve chosen this point cause I’m afraid to have a problem around Nordkapp.
  
  I used to have lazy behavioral without discipline in Turkey. But I am really surprised to see same kind of attitudes all around Europe.
  
  I wrote 2 weeks ago to Inchcape Motors before I arrive and asked for a reservation on 10th of July. I got a response 1 week later telling me that earliest free time is on 14th of July. I responded in a few minutes indicating that I’m on a long trip with strict schedule. And kindly asked help for reservation on 10th.
  
  Then they accepted to have service but declared that they can’t have new tires until that day. I kindly asked again that tires are critical to change before heading to Nordkapp.
  
  And finally when I arrived to their place today in the morning I spend around 4,5 hours. They first tried to find tires as if they are just asked today. They didn’t start for service check even I reminded them that there is no need to wait while calling people and asking for tires.
  
  As a result they couldn’t find tires for me and waited me 4,5 hours for service. The guy told me if I have called him not his colleague they would have tires. Sounds like a joke, right?
  
  And when they call me from cafe after 4,5 hours. While giving the key of the bike to my hand and the bill they declared that my rear break pad needs to be changed also. Offered If I can wait additional 1 or 2 hours more they can do that also.
  
  I was so angry and paid the bill and left the place as quickly as possible.
