Would have given higher review, however they 'sold' another ticket ontop for a small art show and when questioned about this played dumb/suddenly didn't speak any English

We didn't come past the lady that sold the tickets. We were showing or student IDs for some reason mine wasn't exepted and she rejected with a "no". Then I showed another, international one which she didn't want to have a look at and just answered with an aggressive no, no, no. We decided not to buy any tickets.

An interesting museum rich with details and artifacts of interest. Located centrally and almost for free. Some modernization would be good!

Strongly not recommend. Exhibition is very poor and small. Advertisements are lying about it. There aren't any famous or exclusive things. You may find there a cheap souvenir from regular shop as exhibit! Terrible! Also you may be kicked off if working time is over with no excuses. I was very disappointed.

It's ok done. I found it a good waste of 30 mins. The hooman who we bought the tickets from did not tell us about the special extra exhibit that needed another ticket, so went downstairs and some Latvian woman asked for our "bilet", and then we showed her our ticket and she was like "no". Oh well.

We were a little disappointed by the museum! You feel like traveling back in time to Sowjet Riga in the 1970. Pretty weird stuff
Also only about 1/3 of the signs is in english.
At least it's cheap.

Huge collection of items .. Nice display of historical equipments and narrates the history of many great Doctors and Scientists .
