  Riga has been on my list of travel destinations for a while now and I finally was able to come here. I chose Hotel Janne, because it was quite affordable and at the same time looked pretty fancy. The Hotel is situated on the other side of river Daugava as the city center, but it has a great connection with public transportation – there are many buses that stop very near the hotel as well as a trolley right in front of the hotel. The room was neat and nicely decorated, the staff helped me with bus tickets (as it turns out – the price differs, if you buy the ticket outside of the bus) and gave me good suggestions about what to see in Riga. I had a wonderful time here

  A very good place to stop while traveling. The hotel is cozy and with a nice and lovely interior. The staff is friendly and helpful!!

  I visited Hotel Janne around New Years Eve 2017 with my girlfriend. The Hotel is a bit of the City Center but you get a glimpse into the normal not so fancy parts of Riga's everyday routine which makes the quater very interesting. Public Transport is nearby and Taxis are affordable too. Nice, clean and modern rooms and very friendly and helpful staff.

  I have been in Janne Hotels apartment 2,5 months and it is just a faboulus place to be. You will get a privacy if you want but also service immediately when needed. I can recommend this place for short or long term stays. Very good also for students, because RSU is only 7 min. bus drive away and you don't need to worry rush hour.
  
  Hotel Janne's staff has became a part of my family and when I have needed a help they have always given it. They have been very flexible with all my demands. Place is clean and housekeeping works perfectly. Also the breakfast is real Latvian style with spice of European. It has good connections to the airport and downtown. I can really recommend this place with big heart. Safe place to be :-)

  I stayed at the apartments. Good location, lovely receptionists, clean and safe room.
  
  We could park our motorcycles in the backyard. There's also a simple, but sufficient breakfast available.
  
  Would happily stay here again.
