A nice place to hang out for a while, with food shops and convenience stores selling tobacco, sweets. Piano is on the premise if you ever feel the need to play the blues. Well, maybe the railway strike affected your ride back or there was an unexplained technical difficulty at the railway leading to difficulty claiming a ticket or compensation for finding another way back across the boarders. The station has a nice charm to it and the trains allow you to roll your bicycle in. Works for me, just a 60km cycle back.

Okay, it probably isn't Luxembourg's only railway station, but it is the major one, and as a building it is gorgeous. Well, not as gorgeous as the one in Antwerp or the one in Amsterdam, but it is still up there. Also it is pretty big as well, but then again it is the main railway station in the capital of the Grand Duchy. Like many of the other stations it does offer a full service, and is also pretty easy to get around as well. There is also a bistro and a snackbar, and we ended up going to the bistro. I probably should also mention that there is a major bus interchange out the front, and it is also pretty close to one of the shopping districts.

Normal run of the mill station. Small but acceptable selection of food outlets and shops. Has good routes to other destinations. Liked the piano in the main hall. Have a tinkle if you're there.

This station is adapted for local traffic, to reach the small villages of the "country", with a good railway and road network. But it aims to link France, Germany and Belgium (three hours to reach Brussels) and there it is catastrophic. Additionally, sound announcements are inaudible, even when they are not pronounced in the local dialect. The opening hours of the ticket office are those of a country station and not of a capital. Many illegal immigrants run freely through the station, police probably prefer to see them joining other countries.

The station is always full of crowds and navigating through them can be cumbersome if you are in a hurry. It also is open so, cold in winter. Trains do not always leave exactly the same platform as the previous day nor the previous time. Overall the inside appearence from the inside is nor too bad but from the outide, especially up from the pedestrian bridge it looks horrid.

Be careful this is a dangerous place, I got assaulted by an immigrant, maybe from Syria, Iraq or Algeria, he was with 4 other men all of them were drunk and no one from the people around got involved, the police arrived 10 minutes after the incident, avoid Luxembourg if possible..

I expected it to be big but it's not. A has a good experience at ticket counter and information centre.

Good and relatively clean (as for Train Station standards at least). Small but rather efficient

It's great place, but there's unfortunately lot of idle people who come there just for free WiFi connection. If we talk about train station, it's very well organised.
