Don't eat the Beef tartare! We both had food poisoning afterwards. Furthermore, there was black hair in my tartare.
NB: It was delivered by WeDely (15min delivery).
NBB: I ordered and ate at the Annexe several times but the hair as well as the food poisoning was a very unpleasant suprise

Excellent food and friendly staff. Very well hidden in the city center.

I don't usually have these two dishes for ethical reasons but moral debate aside I thought to at least once, try some proper French food in a proper French restaurant.

The Foie Gras was flavourful without being too pungent. Even though the plate was beautifully decorated with garnish, each and every part of the garnish complemented the pate so that each mouthful is somewhat different from the last, staying interesting.

The veal was soft, tender and flavourful but the combination of the potatoes and gravy, although seemingly simple were surprisingly the best I've ever had.

Excellent food and great service, prices are very good for the quality of food received. We certainly will visit again. Atmosphere is a bit lackluster but nice view from the outside.

Edit. Me and a friend got food poisoning from their steak tartare, we where four people and two had the tartare, both got sick. Very disappointing. Still if you stay away from the tartare it’s a nice place, lowered rating by 1 star.

The food was very tasty, but the fries weren't great, and the red house wine not good. Service was a bit to stiff for us, and too much white light made the place less cosy. But again, the food was worth the visit.

L'Annexe is a wonderful place with great service and terrific food. I had fish (cod I think) with a lobster bisque sauce, vegetables and polenta. Soooo good. For dessert I had creme brûlée with pistachio ice cream and it was INCREDIBLE. I would've ordered another serving but I'm trying not to get any fatter than I already am. On another note, the service was efficient and the waiters were friendly and helped us translate the menu considering our French is HORRIBLÉ. If I ever come back to Luxembourg I will certainly stop by L'Annexe. Oh, and get a reservation if you can because this place is poppin'!

Great restaurant. It's close to being a gourmet restaurant. I recommend you try their course menu, which is not too pricey given the fact that you will be tasting great food combinations. Savor the experience, don't rush it. You may be disappointed by the portion size (see pictures), depending on what you are used to normally, but again - it is about discovering the different flavors.

Great price for the value, whole menu for approximately 40€. On Tuesdays you can bring your own bottle of wine

Great ambiance, very good and elaborate French cuisine, nice terrace. Unique in this restaurant is that on Tuesdays evening you can bring your own wine! This is a very great opportunity to enjoy, next to the exquisite food, your own good wines in company of your friends.

I seldom give 5 stars, but this one is definitely a 5 star place: flavor, color, presentation, staff, music and all. Great French cooking with a hint of Asian touch. Super value!
