Too long waiting duration, not patient-friendly hospital in terms of informative plates.
Nobody appeares by pressing the emergency button and you could die inside of the hospital.
I had a surgery with my bone on 20 Dec 2017. I had the anesthesia at 1pm, and then had the operation at 3pm.
After 10pm the anesthesia was deactivated and I cannot stand for the huge pain and I pressed the emergency button, but nobody came for 10 minutes. I called the hospital inside of the hospital from my mobile. They said, "The timing was bad. Everybody went home now and we are waiting for nurses for the night shift".
The medicine didn't help and I pressed the emergency button at 11pm, but nobody came and I called the hospital again. They said, "Something is wrong with the calling system. Its light turns on but does not ring". I had exactly the same thing at 12pm again.
After 5am next day, all medicine was deactivated and the huge pain came again. I pressed the emergency button and the nurse came this time. She said "I will come over again" but did not come and disappeared. I can hear the nurses are chatting and laughing loudly outside of the room and called the hospital again.
This was the worst experience I have ever had in my life.
If you have family in the psychiatric hospital, don't expect any information, just expect rude, obnoxious Dr's makes you wonder even more about the care their patients receive. Wrote a complaint, didn't even get the courtesy of a response!
Nice staff, good surgeons, nice food all good
The emergency room hours listed on the website are totally bogus. If they're not en garde, the clinic will close as soon as it's full, which can be way before 5pm.
My mother went there for a routine operation and was not supposed to have to stay overnight afterwad. However, the doctor did not show up and she had to stay until the next day. Service was horrible, food was awful: the soup was too salty (which is very good for patients with heart diseases), the buns were still frozen and the coffee not even hot. Furthermore, the staff does not respect food need from the patients, asking for tea will still give you coffee. Plus she did not even get a free glass of water and had to buy a bottle in the distributor. The room had never been cleaned during her stay and the trash can was not emptied during 2 days. Bed sheets were not changed after the operation. Television and phone need to be paid to use.
Wrong diagnosis - my grandmother broke both her knees and had severe bleeding in her head and the CHL did not even let her stay, nor did they give her anything. She was sent home. As she coule not cope she took another ambulance to Kirchberg where she died a week later.
terrible, I've been more than 20 for one problem. I feel that most of the doctors there are unable to do their jobs. Luxembourg doctors are more egotistical and less professional than it's neighbouring countries only because you cannot sue them, so they don't fear making a mistake. I have been insulted by 3 doctors already. it's highly disrespectful and unwanted behaviour especially from doctors.
I like this hospital.
They popped my toe right back in place so I didn't end up needing surgery. 10/10 would dislocate again
There is a sleeplab
