My wife delivered in this hospital. The nurses, doctors, sage-femmes, and whoever interacted with us were simply amazing. The delivery was not the easiest but I have always felt we are being taken care of by real professionals with plenty of experience.
Each time a new nurse came to our room, she introduced herself and explained what she is about to do and why. The same for the sage-femmes on the day of delivery. Everything was always explained in detail.
After the delivery I stayed with my wife on a single room for 4 days. The nurses, often mothers themselves, were always happy to share their experience and give good advice on breastfeeding and other relevant post-natal issues.

No organisation for simple blood tests. Everyone is stuck in a room and someone randomly comes and takes a lucky 'prisoner'. Then wait again

Die Hebammen sind sehr nett und man fühlt sich gut aufgehoben. Einzig, die Zimmer im Neubau sind extrem hellhörig. Wir haben bei Besuch im Nebenzimmer fast jedes zweite Wort gehört. Das Baby nebenan hat leider auch sehr viel geschrien und es hat sich angehört als wäre es in unserem Zimmer.

Bon accueil et staff sympathique. Malheureusement les chambres sont tellement mal insonorisées qu'on a l'impression que le bébé de la chambre voisine ou ses visiteurs se trouvent devant vous. Les architectes ont vraiment échoué sur ce coup. C'est une honte pour un bâtiment neuf! Je regrette l'ancienne maternité.

We visited the CHL Maternity department yesterday. We were told to see Dr. Maria HOBEIKA. But we were offended by her poor quality of service. First of all, she was rude in her interactions with us. Then she told us that my wife should not eat anything for two days!? How in the world is that a good recommendation? And she talked to us like we know nothing. I am a Professor and come from a family that we have doctors in our family (my sister and her husband). I tried to kindly make her to be nicer but she insisted on being rude. I kindly asked her to give to my wife an IV injection as it is regular done in such cases (I heard from my MD sister in the UK), but she refused.
While the pill she gave are OK, but we were pissed off by her bad attitude and poor quality of service.response / report this review -

Maternité neuve, à la pointe, d'une propreté exemplaire. Le personnel soignant est en général à l'écoute (il y a des exceptions évidemment), bref une super maternité!

Sehr nettes Personal. Wenn man auch sehr beschäftigt war, so hat man sich trotzdem die Zeit genommen um auf Wohlbefinden und Fragen betreffend den Aufenthalt/ die Operation einzugehen. Besondere Essenswünsche waren mir Dank netter Krankenpflegerin möglicht. Neubau mit großen modernen Zimmern in warmer Farbe. Gut temperiert. Wifi. Sehr sauber. Safe im Zimmer. Absolut vorbildlich.

The nurses are amazingly friendly and very professional. The equipment is new, they give everything that you can need. It is kept very clean and proper. Even the food is very good!
