Chez Anna et Jean is a small family run hotel in a suburb of Luxemburg. You reach it from Luxemburg Gare by bus in 7 minutes or on foot in about half an hour.
It has a nostalgic touch and you feel a bit like at grandma’s, but everything was well functioning. My room was right under the roof (3rd floor). There is no lift in the house, so moving in with big luggage is a bit inconvenient.
Breakfast is served to your table – rolls, croissant, honey, marmalade, cheese and cold meat in single portions, coffee or tea, juice.
Anna is very nice and speaks German, English, French …. and maybe more.
The good connection to the city and the reasonable price makes the hotel very recommendable for a stay in Luxemburg.response / report this review -

The room was very clean. Also, I liked the bed as I fell a sleep in two minutes. But the I more I liked it's a head of hotel. She is very kind and intelligent woman

The room was quite old, but clean and warm. The host was very friendly. Good quality to price rate! Only 20 min to the city center.

Really old furniture, it really needs to be refurbished. On the other hand the room was clean and I slept good. Anna is a really nice, gentle and lovable person. She speaks German, French, Italien and English fluently which I found very impressive. She creates a very family like atmosphere. Nevertheless I can't give her 4 star's which I really would like to. The hotel is really run down.
But I recommend everyone to go there if you don't mind an interior from the 80's (or older?!). The hotel is quite cheap for Luxemburg, Anna is a pearl and you can easily get to the city center by public busses not far away.response / report this review -

The hotel is a bit worn, but it is clean and the hosts are nice. Our room was facing the big street and was relatively noisy except during late hours. The electrical sockets were broken, so I had to use extra caution when connecting / disconnecting any electrical stuff. The price was good for Luxembourg however, so perhaps it is worth it.

The place is old, but clean and homey. One way to experience living in a Luxembourg house. The host is friendly. The breakfast is basic,still we had a happy full tummy. Just a few steps away from the bus stop.

Oud verwaarloosd hotel, niet meer opgeknapt sinds de jaren 60, kamer een allegaartje, bed heel slecht, vreselijk veel lawaai van drukke weg , handdoeken versleten rafels en kapot, slecht ontbijt, als beleg alleen schoteltje met kuipjes jam, smeerkaas, smeerworst, en pasta o ja op zondag 1plakje kaas pp

Sehr nette Besitzerin, zum Übernachten für ein paar Tage ok, Frühstück Super, Günstig, mit öffentlichen Bussen schnell das Zentrum erreichbar. Raucher müssen auf eine Terrasse - nicht Überdacht bei jedem Wetter.

Paní, která nás ubytovávala byla velmi vstřícná a počkala na nás. Wi-fi funkční. Pokoje však průměrné, oldschool vypadající. Ovšem utulne a s terasou na chodbě. Snídaně bylo pečivo a malé krabičky s máslem, Marmeladou, paštikou či oříškovym kremem.

The price is very low for Luxembourg city and there are several busses stopping in front of the building. Free parking included.
The price/quality is not that good compared to other regions, breakfast is some bread with some spread that's it.
The room and furniture is very old, it's clean but very worn off with a leaking shower etc.
Price/quality including the location is very good, in general I would not recommend it.response / report this review
