Good food, better as center parcs. Nice area to mountainbike and do other adventures or just stay with the family at this nice campsite. Recommended. We will come back.
Love this place. This is our 4th time staying. We initially chose Birkelt just because of it's proximity for us to visit a different Country every day but we love Luxembourg the most! Staff are friendly here in Birkelt. Larochette is just a walk down the side of the hill or short drive away and is a really lovely town with everything you could need. Anyone wanting a place to stay in Luxembourg can't go much here.
Great place if you have small children. For them the multiple playgrounds, pools, grasslands are great. Also around the parc there are plenty things to do. People here speak Dutch, German, English and some French.
Great location. Surrounding area is beautiful with lots to see and do
Fabulous campsite, in a wonderful location. Perfect place to stay in, to tour around magical Luxembourg and cross the borders into France, Germany and Belgium.
Great play park, good clean warm pool, friendly staff, nice area to stay.. we'll be back
We stayed here early May and the site has everything you could need. Recommended.
Best swimming pool roof ever.. our 4 year old is talking about it still, half year after our visit to the camping!
Cosy camping, good service. Nice playgrounds for kids. The beds in the cabins however, are super hard/firm. Very uncomfortable. They've given us other (plastic) matrasses to try, but they were also hard. My husband had a painful back every day. (And he's a fit guy) So bring your own solution or bed.
Shop was ok, expencive. The restaurant was a glorified snackbar. Quality was very shaky, but don't try the 'pizza's'.
The woods are great!
Nice heavily wooded site with small plots, prices in bar and restaurant expensive.
Great for children but pitches are on top of one another.
Close to man fantastic hiking routes. Nice big pitches.
A fine place with very friendly and service minded staff.
Location, playground, pool smalle shop quiet place
Stayed here a few times, en route to Switzerland , well reccomened.
Great place for lunch or dinner in summer with that special camping flair.
brilliant place, country you'd never think of visiting, but it's so charming and beautiful. Campsite really well organized, pool very nice, although not too big, so not sure how it's in the summer. Had only a few days break to relax after Disneyland Paris. Food on site very good, very reasonably priced, well stocked. Great walk to the town, but make sure you have good shoes as the hill is very steep. Castle ruins worth seeing on another hill, another trek or I believe you can drive from another direction to it. Really enjoyed my break there, I would love to come back for a longer holiday in the future.
Stayed here for a a week in May, with Eurocamp
. The site is fairly typical of a larger continental site, several clean and pleasant toilet /shower blocks with decent facilities.
The pool isn't very large, but the couple of times we used it, we had the place to ourselves, doubt you'll be able to say the same at peak times!
The bar is pleasant, and the restaurant is actually pretty good. The small shop has everything you need, probably, with lovely fresh bread /pastries etc.
The walk down to the town is a fairly steep path and steps through the woods, might not be much fun in the dark in the rain!
Overall not a bad place to be!
