This place is a bit further from castle and other attractions but! Definitely worthy to visit. The food is delicious and very traditional. Not too pricy. Kids friendly. And our table was served quick and we got professional and nice waitress.
We were told that locals love this place for best kibinai in Trakai 😊

Food was good - we really enjoyed both the appetizers, and the cheese-stuffed pie (kubėtė). However, the waitress forgot one of the drinks, and we had to wait for our food twice as long as mentioned initially (40 mins instead of 20 for the appetizers).

Cold borsch soup was OK, but the rest was awful. Meat in beaf soup was like chewing gum, homemade dumplings didnt have any taste and were floating in a water, probably frozen before. Special cake stuffed with mushrooms and spinach again didnt have any taste. And service was very slow.

Trakai is famous for its local people cuisine. This restaurant is run by family, so here everything is fresh, home-made and presented with love and smile.

Great place for Lithuanian cuisine but book in advance they do a lot of catering for tourist being bused in and out of Trakai. Meat pies or locals call Kibinai are tasty.
