  I was not prepared for this site when our tour group stopped. I strongly recommend visiting this site where 30,000 Jews and 20,000 other people were killed and burned, and then imagine how you would feel if it were 30,000 people from your home town, including members of your family, were part of that number. Whatever your beliefs, feelings, or nationality, this site is worthy of your time, and it tells a different, yet potent story to anyone who will take the time to go there, read the plaques, and understand that we must stand against genocide, wherever it rears its ugly head.
