  Wonderful, a bit old fashioned, but highly recommended for operetta and musical lovers. Very small, little orchestra, singing mostly in Lithuanian, it has its own provincial charm. Nice place for Saturday's evening.

  This place is definitely a must-see in Kaunas! Kaunas State Music Theatre is an experience of its' kind!
  
  Not only for the location and architecture, but also for the atmosphere! Both the public and actors make an incredible interaction during the operas and musicals, it's like a "love story" in the air!
  Here the actors really know how to deliver. Its a fairytale served for adults.They put their whole heart and soul into the acting!
  (Mainstream movies in cinemas will just be a pale copy of this !)
  
  So, each time I leave the Kaunas Music Theatre with good vibes and high spirits, even if I understand zero of the local language! :)
  
  And finally. Don't miss the elegant Theatre Café at the break. Why not enjoy a drink/coffee & local delicacies for unreasonably low prices and it's the nearest you can get to locals of this town (as a tourist) and see their "sunny side of life"
