Kids love it. Great variety of taxidermy (birds, mamals, fish, snakes etc.) also a hall with hunting trophys.

Great for an afternoon wander. A little depressing for animal lovers. Pretty sure some displays are plastic though.

They are thieves. The cash machine only gave me 50 euro bills. I asked if it was okay to pay with that. The cashier said it was no problem, but only gave me back 2 euro. I asked for the rest of my change and she said I'd given her 5 euro, even though that's not the same colour as a 50 note. I asked if there was a camera, so we could check the security footage. The woman behind the counter rolled her chair away and stopped talking to me. Only go if you have exact change or they will steal from you.

A very educating experience from one of most top heroes (a real life Indiana Jones alter ego) of Lithuania.
Good expositions, they add and change them constantly which helps the need to return to see it again.

Don't let the shabby look of the museum's exterior and interior deceive - a great and very visual collection of fauna. Even a quick walk through took as 45 minutes, so there's lot's to see and explore. A nice bonus - they have a very good museum store with educational/scientific toys and other stuff from puzzles to telescopes, way better than at any supermarket. I wish they'd do better marketing of the place.
