Good place to stay at the main
street of Kaunas. Good price level!
Everything in central Kaunas is at walking distance.
You'll sure enjoy the wiew city life from the window.
The café & foodstore downstairs of the same building are a big bonus !

Its very cheap hotel, but the staff is very nice and it has all the acomodations, even air conditioner. I think its one of the best quality/price rate of the city

Fantastic Hotel! Stayed here for 8 nights 03/07/17-10/07/17. Traveled for personal reasons and stayed alone.
My room (203) was very comfortable, lovely big bed, soft pillows and bedding. Two lovely big windows that looked out into the pedestrian street below. Remote controlled air conditioning, TV lamps, bedside tables, mini fridge, wardrobe/shelves, hair dryer. Had more services (laundry etc) at an affordable price if needed.
Shower was powerful and warm and the bathroom was clean and bright.
All the staff were incredibly kind and helpful and were available to me 24/7.
The breakfast was an optional extra at €3.50 if you wanted it. I'm not a big breakfast person but it was a standard European continental breakfast.
I would not hesitate to stay here again, I would recommend it to anyone I know and I honestly can not find one single flaw.
It's not some luxury hotel with fancy chocolate on your pillows every night (although you did get some first night!) and free miniature toiletries (but nice quality shampoo, liquid soap and shower gel supplied) but it is A+ 5* for what it is.
Absolutely everything you want in a City Center Hotel and incredibly cheap, considering. Sits above a lovely restaurant that you get a 20% discount to (Presto) and a mini supermarket (iki).
Thanks for your warm and comfortable stay, such a shame I have to return to reality! If I ever return to Kaunas I will 100% be staying here again.response / report this review -

Great location and rooms looked great. Administrators were very friendly and informed about everything. For breakfest there wad not a lot of varieties of food but what was there was good and tasty. Maybe coffe could be better. Free parking in closed parking lot near a hotel.

Kaunas City Hotel was a great place to stay for our trip to Kaunas. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and helpful with suggesting authentic restaurants to try out around the city. The rooms were not fancy but very comfortable size and clean. The location was brilliant as we could walk virtually anywhere in the city and find our way back effortlessly!

This hotel has only 2 stars, but it truly deserves 3 stars. We received a friendly welcome at reception. There is free parking at the backside of the hotel. Make sure you have the correct address of the parking entrance, as the hotel lies in a (very nice) pedestrian area.
The rooms are clean and have a contemporary look. We had a room with a balcony, which certainly is a plus with the huge windows and good lookout.
Breakfast is quite basic, but on the other hand there eggs and sausages.
The location is perfect to visit the city. Only small remark is the potential noise at night, although windows isolate quite good.

This is a no-thrills, you get what you pay place. The location is very central, on a pedestrian street. We parked 2 min. walk away (pay attention to parking meters). The room was clean, minimalistic with all the essential things someone would require for a sleep-over. Highly recommended for practical people.
The breakfast for 3,50 EUR was quite bland, I would recommend visiting the cafe on the ground floor. You get a discount by showing the hotel door card and the breakfast offer is much better at comparable prices.
