How this place got 4.4 stars is beyond my knowledge. Location isn’t best. To walk to old town center is 2km half an hour. Very basic room and facilities too. Price is cheap? Not necessarily. I paid 36 for a single bed and it definitely is more expensive than some hotels in the old town. If you drive there are only 4 parking spaces. Not recommended anyway. I’d rather pay 100 for big brands if I knew it was like this in the first place. Staff is very warm though, and for that, and for that only, I rate this place 3 stars.

I really like all 3 stars or 2 stars hotel in Baltic three countries. Because the service is good, the staff are so kind and thoughtful. They are much better than 5stars-hotels in most ways.

I would have given it a 5/5 if the location was a little better. The hotel itself and the staff that run it are very helpful and very polite. The hotel is very clean and modern .The rooms are a fair size for European standards. The breakfast buffet is a decent size, but not very traditional "Canadian" breakfast. But good enough to fill the void. The location is the only down side. It isn't walking distance to the old town, however there is a bus stop right out front and it is on a main road which makes it super easy to access.

Nice modern hotel, simple but very clean, friendly staff. Decent breakfast included. Convenient to bus stops. There is a well stocked little store close by.

Very happy with our stay at Algiro Hotel! The hotel is brand new and the rooms are clean, modern and a good size. The power shower is great! The hotel is definitely great value for money - free parking and wifi and a huge hot breakfast with many choices included! The staff were polite and helpful and know the city well. We liked that they served breakfast until 10.00 so you don’t have to wake up very early unlike some other hotels. There is a supermarket right beside the hotel which has a bakery and little coffee shop inside should you want to buy anything. Attractions were not too far, just walking distance and it is a short walk to the city centre. There is also a bar inside the hotel which has a very good selection of beer and snacks. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to any one visiting Kaunas.
