Very hospitable n friendly family who runs this place. Food orders are prepared n served promptly. Very moderate prices.

Had a decent but unremarkable Vedgetarian curry and roti here.
Weirdly some of the curries were served cold.
Friend had a seriously hot chicken curry, I tried the sauce, it was delicious.
Simple place and not quite as tourist trap vibe as some of the other places on the Main Street, so perhaps worth a look.response / report this review -

Homemade very good food for even better price. Very wide menu including omelettes, sandwiches and of course typical local food. Definitely try mango lasse! The staff was very nice and friendly too.

Good food, reasonable price, wide selection. Clean toilet too. All in all a good experience. 10% service charge will be added to your bill without prior warning though. We had the Those(dosa) with chicken curry & rice with chicken curry. Both were really good. The juices we had were Coconut infused with Lemon and wood apple were really innovative and nice as well.

Amazing food in this unassuming and inexpensive restaurant at the corner of the street. And a relatively more varied menu. Had soup, kottu, and curries. All yummy.
Much better than most of the more expensive eats in town, which tend to cater more for tourists and look more flashy.response / report this review -

Rice & curry (especially the pumpkin curry) was delicious. Kottu and hoppers were decent. All in all not as good as Adam’s breeze or Matey’s but it is authentic and without the queue

Friendly host. Rotti-curry was very good. Egg kothu was also good. Prices are reasonable. I preferred it to the other options around. Value for money.

We visited some of the top rated restaurants in TripAdvisor and they were good but I think Raha had the best curry dinner we had in Ella. Everything was really tasty and the dish was really big. Rice served with six different kind of curries. Also loved the curd with honey we had for dessert. Also very cheap menu.

03 Aprile - Abbiamo scelto questo locale dopo aver visto i prezzi un po' più nella norma SrilankesePurtroppo però il cibo lascia molto a desiderare! Abbiamo preso un kotthu che era abbastanza buono, un lassi ok e un piatto di "boiled vegetable & fish with french friend"tutto bene se non per questo ultimo piatto; le patatine erano piene di olio e il tonno praticamente invisibile e stracotto (improponibile). Al che ci siamo rifiutati di pagare per il piatto proposto e dopo aver è tenuto solamente le verdure bollite abbiamo i pagato 800 rupie totali (al posto di 1100). Si può fare molto di più, basterebbe non dormire sui tavoli come fa il gestore/proprietario
