  This place is a must to try while you are discovering this little walled old town Galle. They have a great selection of curry that is suitable for vegetarians as well. They have at least one choice of meat. My favorite are tofu curry and the amazing tasty banana and eggplant curry (I didn’t know that this combination could be so damn good). The service is also great. They go beyond for you to feel like in heaven when you try their curries. Not too salty neither spicy. I confess that every single spoon worth the price you paid.

  I try to go eat at the cheapest local places usually, but this place worth every extra penny! The eggplant and banana curry was simply amazing! I strongly recommend even if you travel on a budget, you need to try that place :)

  Outstanding food and fantastic value. Genuinely the best food we have had in our 10 days in Sri Lanka. The aubergine and banana curry, and the mango chutney, are ludicrously flavoursome. Friendly, non-intrusive service too.

  Don’t be put off by the plastic plate covering - this place is excellent. Great curry and sambol, loads of variety and a set price of 1000 rupees no matter how hungry you are :) we especially loved the Aubergine curry and coconut sambol. Delicious!

  Although wonderful, Galle is touristy filled with establishments that cater to touristic tastes. Coconut & Sambol is refreshingly simple. They make all-you-can-eat curry for a set price of just under 1k. It's made (and remade) on the spot, so it's hot, fresh & bloody delicious. There were about 5 curries in total, incl chutney & rice when we were there. We had two plates each, a fruit juice, fresh lime soda, felt satiated, happy & refreshed for less than 3k. Also note - these guys do not charge the standard 10% service fee.

  Great experience and awesome food. Definitely go for dinner buffet. All you can eat! It's 1,000 lkr/per person.

  The only concern is the heat at the restaurant. It was hot. We had to step out a couple of times to get some cool air.
  
  Nevertheless a great place to get some amazing food. A must in galle fort

  Fantastic curry place.
  They have 5-6 kinds of srilankan curry and I liked all of them. Not just for vegetarian, when I went there they had chicken curry also. The price is little bit high but deserve it.
