Located on the Galle Old Dutch Hospital premises. Tasty food. Prawn curry with bread was my favourite.

Worst expereince. Waited 45 min here without food and not even apology. Food tasted meh and not worth for the price at all.

Once upon a Time this used to be a good place. Unfortunately, not anymore.

Got a nice view. But price is very high and they do not provide a service which is up to what we pay. Taste of food is not good and bad either.

I liked the view and the spot, but I didn’t like the service staff and the way they treated us. When the bill came the waiter was always around our table making some pressure and then when we were about to pay he wasn’t there anymore so we went inside the restaurant (our table was on the balcony) and gave the money to his colleague, but when we were leaving the waiter who was making the pressure around our table ran after us and screamed “so aren’t you going to pay the lunch?!” instead of asking to his colleague first about that!! And then, when he realised his mistake, he simply went inside the restaurant and didn’t even apologized. I really just hope that they get better and more educated staff working there because I’ve never felt this ashamed in a restaurant before.

Nice little restaurant in the Old Dutch Hospital building serving really delicious food and cold drinks with a great view of the ocean. The minute in the name doesn't really refer to the service, but what else do you need to be doing that's more important than eating amazing Sri Lankan food?

The best thing is its position. In the heat it is wonderful to turn the corner and be met by that breeze and that view.
The food was good and I enjoyed the beer battered fish. The batter was excellent. The prices are very reasonable compared to the general rate in Galle Fort and the service was friendly and fairly efficient.

Good view, perfect spot for a snack and some cocktails. Actually have some delicious not overly sweet drinks like the Galle Fort and Passion Daquiris. A bit pricey though.

A minute by tuk tuk has a really lovely view facing the Indian ocean and has average cocktails and drinks. The food was alright I would say nothing exceptional. But still is a nice place to just sit and chill and have a drink and small eats. I liked the place mainly cause of the view it provided, the drinks and small eats.

Disappointed. Nice view but bad smell from the sea side. Local curries were not up to the expectation. Feel sorry for foreigners who might think those are really local tastes.

This cafe serves a variety of food including local curries, the view is stunning and ambience calming. I enjoyed my lunch (prawns, curry) but unfortunately the food did not meet my expectations after reading other reviews. Portions weren't congruent with the price and I'm unsure how fresh the ingredients were. I would suggest coming here for the GREAT drinks, views and small eats but having a major meal elsewhere.

We make sure to work in a meal at this amazing place every time we're in Galle. It's situated upstairs on the edge of the ocean, providing stunning views. The food is excellent. Our absolute favorite is the prawn curry. It comes served with bread that you dip into the coconut milk sauce. Staff and management are doing a great job! It's not really possible to make reservations so get there on time or you'll lose out!

This place didn't live up to the hype for us. We ordered the grilled prawn and it tasted a bit slimy (potentially not fresh). The chili pork was also a little bit hard to chew. The black pork was also too salty. The calamari was the only thing decent. Other than that, the view and atmosphere is indeed quite nice.

Good food with an exceptional view. The menu had good variety with a relatively cheap price. Service was on point. Definite recommendation

Maybe the best spot in the beautifully restored historic building, with regular tables and high tops in the balcony overlooking the bay. Great for relaxing with a drink with solid food choices

Decent food for the price. But what you really take away from this place is it's great location and the sound of the sea.

Also, if you are a tea drinker, the Golden Tips is a must try.
