  Yala National Park is one of famous National Park Among Tourists. Most people comes to yala to see Leopard. Yala is famous for Leopard. You are very lucky if you can see a Leopard in Yala because they are rare. When you visit the Yala please remember if the Yala Gates are open on 6.00 am If you want to Enter among first few vehicle in to the Park, You have to come to before 5.00 am near to the gate as there is a lot of queue near the gate. There is a schedule at the evening time to enter the park.

  The one and only Safari experience.
  Hundreds of Jeep in the park and got super crowded when elephant shows up. Also you can see the leopard from far away distance. Jeeps are aggressive to get so close to an elephant.
  This is the tour I might just join for one time, never gonna do it again.

  Great experience here, costs 7000rs for two to get in, you just need to sort a jeep and driver separately. Famous for its leopards, we also saw elephants, boar, deer, iguanas, mongoose and loads of buffalo. Get there early!

  Not worth the money and the time. You can't really see leopards nor bears. For the most you get a short glimpse amongst the dozens of noisy jeeps waiting for the leopard to show himself.
  All you can see in 4 hours are some scattered boars, distant buffalo herds, one or two crocodiles, some deer and an elephant here and there.
  In afdition, there are some breath taking lakes, few of the many you see along the way to the nature reserve.

  Too many jeeps. The (amazingly beautiful) park is one big traffic jam and that spoils it all. Also very sad for the animals, when they get harassed by sometimes 20 jeeps at a time.

  Very nice park , we enjoyed our safari - I love safari and we did do safari in Tanzania, Brazil Malaysia etc so we can compare -the landscape is amazing - there is plenty of nice birds to. In terms of “ big animals “ we saw sloth bears ( very nice ! ) antilop , python , and elephants - if you are an early bird and wake up at 4 am you have a lot of chances to see the leopard which is a very hard to see animal . The road are pretty and if you are sensitive to back-pain keep it to half day safari only

  Pretty good place to visit. It was my first safari so I can't compare it with any. We rode in Jeep for 3 hours and saw plenty of birds, buffalos, more rarely lizards and elephants. I recommend to visit this place. Hope you will see leopards, because I didn't :(

  Yala National Park is nice to visit. What I did not like was to very long drive (5,5h) in self-installed Jeep cars that made me back pains for the rest of the trip. I got the chance to see a leopard from 2km distance, but usually its very rare that you see them.

  Isn't a topical safari that you do in Africa but still pretty cool. We've seen some elephant plenty of buffalo and lizards some crocodiles and many different birds. Our tour guide as knowledge and attentive.
