World’s end, one of an edge of a mountain with high view of depth. Situated in Horton place national park. The view is amazing. Very famous place to visit by tourists.

Wonderful place to visit. Its better visit there early in the morning. Then you will be able to get clear wive. On the other hand you will be able to see various kinds of animal in the morning.

The most beautiful view that i have ever took . The scenery from the World end drop is simply fascinating , you could see the beauty of the Sri lanka for miles . The close by mountains range also adds to the beauty. It is said that ocean also could be seen from there , however i could not clearly see it . If you were observant enough you could see some beautiful flowers and plants.
But there are few things we should keep in mind of , the first thing is our safety . We should be careful when we going closer to he edge of the cliff as fall from it would means certain death . Also make sure that you arrive early ( at least 6 30 A.M to entrance ) , because the mist set in the evening blocking the magnificent view .

A beautiful hike. I'm very happy I did it. Please come early, around sunrise. I suggest to take the right path for the taking pics lovers. The left path goes to the trees therefore shade for a while. And I guess it's better to end the hike in shade when the sun is high in the sky.

Very nice tour. But it is recommended to be at the entrance of the park around 6.30 - 7.00am. And everybody will do this, so expect a queue for tickets. Which is a bit pricey (4500r for 2 persons). You don't need a guide for this hike, there is only 1 trail which goes around in a circle. You can choose to walk left or right, we choose left. So you would see Little Worlds End before the big one.

Its a popular spot with beautiful scenery. The signs and directions are very clear and most of the time the trail is pretty easy.
very average walk with one nice view which is crowded. You sent an hour or so. walking for this one view which means the rest of the walk is just bland with nothing to see. For the price of entry and the cost of a driver I'd find it hard to justify a visit.

Good excuse for a walk in a lovely scenic park. Clean fresh air and good views. Paths a bit rough in places.

This site is totally worth it. For me it is not only the world's end view in the middle of the trek, but the whole trek up till, enjoying the incredible scenery and landscape, birds etc. Very nice. I would recommend once you reach little worlds end continue up the hill, enjoy view and continue into the jungle. You will reach the main path soon. Very nice unique forest landscape this whole trek.

This is something like the grande Finale of the horton plains tour. A very scenic and lovely hike. Start early in the morning and bring some warm clothes until the sun gets finally out, it can be cold in the morning. When the sun comes out the place starts to wake up and fogs vanish. A beautiful scenery. But unfortunately exactly that scenery may turn out to take away the world's end view. As I arrived there it was very foggy and the view was not so amazing, but once you can see through the fog you can already feel what this place is about. In general I highly recommend it even when there is fog, if is great.

It is a tiring walk to reach the worlds end but it is worth the walk. It is crowded during holidays and the best time to visit is in the morning. It is covered in mist when reached in the afternoons. Bakers falls could also be seen which is also a major center of attraction.

It is a 870m-cliff that it makes me feel dizzy and breathtaking. Also there are wider plain, including endemic species (sambur and so on) and lake and fall along trail about 9km long. It is not worth Rs 4000 as of Dec 2017 being paid by only a foreign tripper

Easy little walk. Have to say that little world's end had the better view. I noticed lots of people with a guide which we felt completely unnecessary as it really is one very obvious path all the way round. The circular route took us three hours with time to stop and eat what we brought. There's nothing to buy on the walk so take drinks and snacks. Only one very steep bit so I advise going right when choosing which way to do the loop as then you can go down that bit. If you go left then expect to be tired towards the end.
I have there for more than 6 times, I'm not bored of going there. We will be relaxed and feel out of the world. They remove all the plastics at the entrance which is good even though some of the visitors put garbage everywhere. Happy to see a place which is naturally left.
Entrance ticket is bit high they need change few things regarding the few. Bite the place is best.

There are several paths around the park but the most popular is the circular walk via 'The Mini World's End', 'The World's End' and Baker Falls. This is around 9km and offers some excellent views and a small opportunity to see some wildlife. It does get busy and the fog can build up in the day so best to arrive early. It takes around one hour and 15 minutes from Nuwara Eliya.

On a clear day its clearly visible the great drop. Many people think its the Balangoda but that is not true. Place you see from the worlds end belongs Non Pareil state.
