An ideal B/B option in Hatton were budget travelling is considered. Probably the only budget hotel with a pool option. Their food is nothing to rave, but can well recomend their clue sandwich. Staff service is graceful and accommodating. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Perhaps, HSH can best speak of the fantastic view overlooking the Castlereagh reservoir.

Nice place for a short break. Enjoyed the fishing.

2nd visit after one year. Once again great stay for 1 week at the new triple rooms with even a better view. When it is overcrowded on the weekends service gets affected. Food is great if the regular cook is available. Clean and well maintined but they need to work on recycling their garbage. Also noticed that motor boats which were banned on the resvoir is not strictly enforced now. Hope this enviorenmental miracle will not be ruined by commercialization!
15/05/2018 Update: Facilities have improved but reliability of hot water cannot be guranteed because it is shared among multiple rooms with little capacity. Added exercise machines where you can do your workout overlooking a breathtaking view of the lake. Fishing still good. Cooking is still excellent.response / report this review -

Beautiful gardens and views. Helpful staff. Clean but very basic. No tea/coffee but a kettle. Food not great and pricey. Electricity and water unreliable. Conveniently on the tea trail. Good overnight as hotels are limited in this mountainous area.

Great place to spend some quiet relaxing time. Very scenic and extremely beautiful.
Rooms are very nice and has basic amenities.
Staff are very friendly and to out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Service is very personalized.
No alcohol is served, guests should come prepare with own stock if so desired.
Be prepared for mosquitoes with sufficient repellent. Coils are provided.

This is a private hotel, not on all the websites, it is only by word of mouth. But if you want a relaxed place to switch off from the world, this is the place to come. Friendly staff, personalised service and the view at the back of the hotel, simply stunning!
