Weeragoda Sri Maha Vihara Piriwena
Weeragoda Sri Maha Vihara Pirivena situated Colombo-Batticaloa Highway, Ratnapura. There is a big beautiful Buddha statue near the road in this temple. Also it has chethiya, Bodhi with a golden fence, Buddha mandir with colorful arts and statues and a Vishnu dewala.

Weeragoda Temple Buddha Statue is a symbol of protection, meditation, contemplation, adoration, compassion. Love this place. I spent calm and peaceful hour looking at the statue.
