Believed to be one of first and currently the only golden coloured temple in Srilanka. It's different to the other stupas and construction was finished and handed over to the head monk on 07th of November 2013.

An ancient Buddist temple located at a ferry of Menik River in Uva Province of Sri Lanka. The ferry is a safe bathing place for pilgrims/ tourists. There is a newly built stupa at the temple and pilgrims can see its inside by requesting from the administrative office of the temple. Pilgrims who are willing to see the inside of the stupa should wear white dresses, if not the temple is providing some white clothes to cover-up.

Beautiful temple on the bank of Manik ganga. One of the main bathing spots used by the pilgrims is near the temple.
