Walli matha Cave.This place is also known as walli guhawa.This place is a historical place.Dont miss this place if you visit sella katharagama.This is the place where God Katharagama and Walli Amma's Wedding took and they lived several months there.The cave they lived together is known as walli amma guhava.There is a belief that foot print of walli amma is there.

This God of Kataragama (the first place where Kataragama fell in love) is surrounded by a wall which is the place where the Kada princes fell in love with the Valli who was dancing Kavadi. According to the Hindu scriptures, the garden where the peacock danced around a peacock's bow is known as 'Mile Adum Sole'. This is the kingdom of the Naga (association) tribe who inhabited the southern part of the prehistoric era. In Hindu teaching, this (Suran Kottei) is the fort of association. The ruins of the fort of the great asura called Maha Suran can be seen here till today. Due to that, the cave is still known by the traditional name of "Valli Mata Cave".
