Beautiful experience. Amazing accommodation, impeccable service, delicious food and beautiful surroundings with continual bird song and animal spotting galore. Tree tops is well worth a visit (for as long as you can afford!) thanks so much to the team and resident elephants here for an unforgettable stay.

A must visit. We were lucky enough to be here on our own. The staff were so attentive and lovely - always smiling. The restaurant area is very peaceful and you can watch many birds dipping in and out of the nearby pond. At night an elephant was eating around 2m from our tent! We organised a safari and it was amazing. Instead of going to the overcrowded and touristy Block 1, we went to Block 5 , where we were almost alone! We were so lucky to see so much wildlife including a leopard - and we were the only ones to be there. This place is so special and an experience a lot of us will never encounter in life. Cannot recommend enough.

This is not, as lonely planet suggests, a safari camp, nor is it merely a stop off point for hikers between Aragambe and Ella. It is a destination in its own right. It's great as a base from which to arrange a safari in Yala, but the safaris are not included and the experience here is very different. You don't go out looking for wildlife among crowds of tourist jeeps, rather you sit down and relax with a drink and wait for wildlife to come to you. I saw elephants every day I was there. One night we were even surrounded by 15 of them with tusks glowing in the pale moonlight; a sight I will never forget. Truly an amazing place to sit, be still, and become accustomed to the slow rhythm of the jungle and of nature.

The service is excellent and the staff really know their stuff - they all know the wildlife and some are trained trackers.
