3rd highest mountain in sri lanka

Thotupola mountain is the third heighest mountain in sri Lanka. It is situated on the pattipola hortan plains road after the pattipola entrance. There is a 2 km trail to the top of the mountain and it is an easy hike. But most of the people who are visiting hortan plains won't go there. Since the him is easy an average person can complete the entire hike within about 2 hours. This is a good place to visit even for kids. If it is a sunny day you'll be able to see the adamspeak. I'm highly recommending this hike for families who likes a little adventure.

nothing to see up there except telecom poles.so I guess its the journey that matters but still its not that hard.

Good easy hike of 2km. Constant steady incline right from the trail head. Awesome pace for a nature lover. People who throw garbage wherever they go should not go there.
