Great place with amazing ambiance. My first time here was for a meeting, I quite enjoyed the short stay.

They give you a welcome drink after you walk in (with cucumber and mint, rather refreshing.)

There’s quite a bit of premium teas and tea-based beverages to choose from. I had an Earl Grey which was quite good. You can ask them to prepare teas specially for you (like how strong you want it to be, if you want honey added etc.)

The staff is quite friendly too.

    Would definitely visit again.

Nice cosy place to enjoy AC after walking around for a while. The tea was great, but the waffle with maple syrup was even better, i was really craving for that type of dessert :)
The downside was that i found the prices a bit high, but with that location, i understand

This place is great for having tea and coming with friends. The service is superb and the ambience is good and perfect. Right next to main attraction. If you feel tired of walking specially in the hot weather this is a place to be.

The cafe looks cozy but in fact it feels like an igloo. They set the temperature extremely low and the washroom is out of the cafe, causing differences in the body temperature. This is a general issue in Colombo, air condition is always set too low while the city is hot and humid. But i would expect this place to be more professional and environment friendly. Both of us caught a severe cold after this visit. The carrot cake was also warmed in the microwave and the ice cream had frost bits, so i would not recommend the sweets. The tea was nice and the decoration was well taken care of, but the place definitely does not deserve a star visit as the lonely planet recommends.

Good place to chill for the afternoon. A great list of drinks and beverage offered here. Lots of food items too some food / desserts are good but never order the churros, it was sooo bad ( especially when you looked at how they make that with microwave from second floor) the signature tea kitsch is not bad but the condensed milk amount bartender added is a bit inconsistent. The sweetness is not the same as I went there 3 times in 3 days and it always taste a bit different. I prefer flavored kitsch than the original one. Price is fair overall and tea is okay. A good place to buy some tea or have a cup of afternoon tea!

Fancy with a good variety of teas to try. Reasonable price and kind staff. Open until late which helped us since our flight was at 1 AM.

Dilmah t-Lounge is one of Romaric place in Colombo. They have super good tea, especially for their utterly refreshing and cooling drinks
Films,s breezy flavoured teas are exquisite. Light, tangy, and infused with just the right amount of flavour and a tad too much sugar (especially unstirred), it's a cooling slice of heaven on a sweltering day.

While the locals great, and the food is not bad, the service here has some very serious issues.
    1. One of the staff members handed is the menu while we were climbing up the stairs. I get it that they can get tired climbing up and down all day, but this is a high end cafe and it's extremely rude to not come to your table and give the menu. Also, this was done in a very rude manner with no greeting. Table service is a very basic concept.
    2. The staff was talking among themselves very loudly. This was just so disturbing and ugly. People do not go there to listen to the problems of staff members.
    3. Takes ages to get the attention of a waiter.
    4. One waiter was actually singing loudly.
    5. Took over 20 minutes just to get two cups of tea.
    6. The cashier and another staff member we're loudly talking to each other while we were paying the bill, only acknowledging us to say the price. Went right back to their own discussion after taking the credit card.
    7. Not so much as a thank you at the end.

I sincerely hope that whoever is managing this place takes a serious look at these issues.

Cozy spot for some great Ceylon tea. The atmosphere in this place is comfy and welcoming although it is often full and hard to find place to sit. The selection of tea is wide and caters to both those wanting something traditional and something new. Food selection is kitschy and could be less boring.

Really good place, the tea and deserts delicious. The cheese pizza with onions (I don’t like the onions) the design os good but the chairs need cleaning. The stuff is ok.
Definitely recommend this place, at least to try good tea

Friendly staff. Variety of tea options. Cool place. Try the traditional pol sambol.

The t-Lounge is an upscale, elegant place designed around the enjoyment and appreciation of fine tea; complemented by light snacks and tea inspired food and beverages. The t-Lounge by Dilmah is unique in that our emphasis on tea is founded on their passionate commitment to tea as tea growers and a family business; established and headed by the world’s most experienced tea maker; the first tea grower to offer his tea direct to tea drinkers around the world.

Loved the atmosphere. Staff was friendly and service was good. Both the drinks and food were nice. A good place to relax. What I feel is, it is something more than just a t-lounge because it shows customers how special the Sri Lankan Tea is

The place is good. But the staff are not that great. we go there to have a good time not to hear the staff talking about their personal matter. One of the staff was very rude. Mean while the regular guy, i think he is new. Very pleasant and always has a smile on his face. Customer service has to improve a lot.

Went in early May. Old lady cleaning up invited us in, was quite friendly. The decor was nice, a cool space. Other staff though seemed uninterested in serving customers, there was about four of them pottering around. Only about 4 other tables of customers. After waiting a while at the counter, they said go sit down as they'd come take our order at the table. Waited about 10 minutes and had to ask for our order to be taken. Same response - "we will come to your table". Waited another 10 minutes, still no service. Decided to take out money and custom elsewhere. A real shame as looked like a nice place, a shame the staff weren't keen on serving their customers. Why work in hospitality if you won't do the basics/don't like people? I guess there's still some mysteries left in the world!

I was so sad the last time I went, because it was full. I love this cafe. They also let you send free postcards to your home country (the ones they supply, not ones you bring) so take a few addresses with you!
