Was great to stay in such a unique hotel and setting. Beautifully remote and set within the rainforest. Cannot beat the location. But with that comes a steep long winding road to get to it and lots of insects/leeches/animal noises at night. The cabin wasn’t luxurious but comfortable enough. The shower was powerful and hot and loo isn’t a hole in the ground as had expected ;) the Cabin was well used so some fixtures were a bit worn and not shutting/working properly and our lights and plug sockets didn’t all work. Food was good lots of local flavours but also some western food mainly chips and sandwich. The cabin was cold at night so wear a hoodie as my head got cold. There is blankets in room which were used. The hotel can take you on a walk into rainforest and to the waterfall. Would recommend staying.

Stayed one night on Sri Lankans tour, the cabins as an ingenious use of recycled shipping containers were comfortable and well equipped, the food was good and plentiful . The guided walk provided good views of the blue magpie with the guide taking time to locate key species. The night time sky was amazing have not seen so many stars in years.

Had a great time at this place.very good eco losge for nature lovers.you can only hear the sound of the wind, bird and other animals.not satisfied with the food but nothing to complain.the walk through the forest , fish therapy and the water falls was awesome. You can climb and go to the top of the waterfall. Even though they say you have to get a guide to walk through the forest , its not necessary as per my experience.

It's a good place. Nice place for a relax. They have 2 tracking which are waterfall and bird tracking. Per person LKR 400.00 only. Only matter was the road. Need to take difficult road to reach to the hotel. But it has nice view. Recommend a vehicle with good ground clearance. Food was not bad.

Didn't let us inside to drink tea. :(

We were driving long way and it was starting to rain. There is no other place to stay. We wanted to have some tea at your cafe and maybe stay for the night. Your security called manager and he told us that we cannot enter the property. So we left. That is not a hospitable thing to do. So you get bad review.

This place is unique every way. It's completelly secluded location in middle of rainforest.You will stay in container fully enveloped in surrounding nature, so sitting at your balcony at night with jungle right at your door and over your head, hearing all the animal voices can be quite overwhelming experience.Food done to perfection, very accommodating and friendly staf, nice caring manager. Duering my stay they didn't served alcohol and be ready that the Wi-Fi connection is only in lobby and weak.As you will drive to mountainous location very challenging to drive, you should make your arrangements the way, to make it there before dark.If you are nature lover wanting to have few days escape from daily hustle to complete peacefulness, than this is the best place for you.

Very good place place for nature lovers.
But customer service is not up to satisfactory standards. Staff is not flexible to meet customer requirements. Meals are also looking cheap compared to others in the same catogory. Not recommend.

This is a relaxed place. Quite friendly too. A bit restrictive though on what to do and where to go (actually it is forbidden to walk alone and the length of the guided (paid) tour are very short). I was also suprised not to see any birds or any other wildlife from my terrace (we stayed two nights in two bungalows). I suspect they have means to keep them away for seucrity. Pity

Hotel has a great view on the rainforest! Service is great and rooms are nice. I would suggest to go 1 night. There are almost no animals to see in the park, so 1 organized walk is enough.

Great place to visit if you are a nature lover Do not expect luxurious stay at there But it is amazing experience to stay few meters next to World Heritage Sinharaja forest and listing to wind and many other sounds As in their name always expect rain and also at night temperature goes down, be prepared for that as well.

Love the location and the concept of the hotel. Food was bit unsatisfactory but yet the experience is far beyond the negativity of the menu. loved the waterfall trail and felt privilege to be on that location it self. Rooms are super cute. the perfect getaway for a nature lover. but for the people who are looking for food and comfort out of the visit, I would rather not recommend this hotel for yall

It's an exotic hotel with very friendly staff and nice shallys with ugly outlook and very comfortable inside. It is surrounded by tea lands and the Sinharaja forest reserve with very peaceful environment for relaxation.

The staff is very friendly, not just one or two, but the whole staff. Very calm relaxing place. Took the waterfall nature trail, very short but enjoyed it. Ideal place of you want to spend few days without external disturbances. No Internet, mobile signal strength is low.

The only negative aspect I found was food, wasn't up to my taste, and the diversity was low.

Nice place with beautiful surrounding, in the middle of the jungle. Food was pretty good as well. And staff is very friendly and helpful. Have nice trails around the area which are pretty amazing.

As described in the name of the hotel this is a Eco friendly hotel which gives a totally different experience out of the city. Located in a mount top bordering to the Sinharaja rain forest. On the narrow mortar-able way to the hotel in a mount top there are tons of leeches, and travelers going without a caravan should notice this as we got some leech bites.

Hotel is cold, nice and calm place and cabanas made from container boxes are available for guests. As per the concept (Eco friendly) there are no AC (actually not need as the setting is very cold) and TV facilities to the room.

Recommend for those who love to got away from city and Eco lovers.
