  This was advertised as 5 stars but don't let them fool you! This is more like a 2 star hotel with very bad service! The rooms were filthy upon arrival and we had to ask them to clean, they did clean but it still was dirty!! Maybe it's the Sri Lankan way?! Who knows?!!
  Beds where not comfortable.
  Air conditioning was not cooling properly.
  Bathroom and toilet is not air conditioned!
  Hallways are not air conditioned!
  Bathroom not insulated properly as there were lots of mosquitos and some lizards!
  Very overpriced hotel and wouldn't recommend anyone staying there!
  Stay away!!!
  If you decide to stay here for any reason here are the good points:
  1) Sri Lankan ginger Tea upon arrival.
  2) Hotel food is delicious.

  The service was great and the food was even better. We woke up late each day and there wasn't any trouble to have breakfast. Very clean pool and gardens. Only downside is that the sea has a rock ledge so no swimming in the sea, but this is the same all along here. Perfect way to start or finish you visit to Sri Lanka.

  Loved their service and the hospitality extended to us. Each staff that we met made sure we were ok and made the simple gestures of asking how we were and if we were having a good day which is rare. Cozy place, lovely food and nice views.
