  Absolutely recommended!
  
  The place is run by a organization for supporting families that were disturbed by the LTTE insurgency. That alone makes this place nice to visit and buy something.
  
  They have tasty traditional Tamil food available, presumably prepared in homes of the members of the organization. I ate a bunch of stuff without even knowing the names of those, and boy, everything were damb delicious.
  
  They've a craft store as well.
  
  Please stop here if you're passing through Mankulam.

  Nice place to get a rest on your way to jaffna or colombo. Local food . Clean wash room. Open sitting area.
