A genuine taste of the area. Fight to the front of the queue, point and smile at something that looks good, then eat with your hands. Dont expect any frills: Cheap, authentic, fast service and friendly waiters

A good Hotel for the outsiders who pass through or stay at Puthukkudiyiruppu, They are special for a short eat called "Mithivedi" (Meaning: landmine) which is an enlarged version of rolls and contains chicken egg and standard rolls mixture. It is rumoured that "Mathi hotel" is the founder of this food and now it is very famous among the North Province.
