  Lovely lady on the phone, looking forward to visiting. To the previous comment, Hans - this is countryside accommodation - and how we expect it to be. It does not need to be 5 star accommodation.

  Lieu où les gens sont supers accueillants. Le confort est primaire mais on est un peu plus proche de la vraie vie sri lankaise que dans un hôtel. A conseiller pour les aventuriers mais un peu moins pour la lune de miel 😉

  An out of the ordinary experience. The Tamarind Gardens property is adjacent to the Victoria Reservoir and the stay includes a boat ride in a catamaran boat. The farm fresh dairy products and local cooking are absolutely great. A walk around the village is also included. The rooms are clean and fairly comfortable and the couple that owns the place is very friendly and makes your stay extremely homely. If you are tired of the usual guest house hospitality Tamarind Gardens offer you something different especially for the foreign tourists

  Tamarind Gardens is a community based project with sustainability at its core.
  Nice location, clean accommodation, tasty food and good project idea. Go for it!
